BIOSHOCK INFINITE’S SOUNDTRACK DETAILED, HINTS AT PLOT POINTS
Irrational Games has revealed the full track list for the soundtrack to their upcoming Bioshock Infinite and the track descriptions provide insight into the upcoming game.
If the order of tracks have been arranged as they occur in the game (typical of most soundtracks) it looks like the game is going to be a roller coaster of excitement interlaced with tender moments.
Two new theories for you: the track list references the names Lutece and Rory O’More.
Lutece probably refers to Rosalind Lutece, author of “The Principles of Quantum Mechanics,” the book that Elizabeth is holding when she first meets Booker and, as revealed this last December in his Reddit AMA, one of Ken Levine’s “favorite characters.”
While Lutece’s role has not been revealed fully yet, having her own track indicates she will be a reoccurring character throughout the game.
Rory O’More, however, is a new name that hasn’t been discussed yet.
Rory O’More could refer to a character that aids Booker and Elizabeth or, more likely, since it’s accompanied by the Irish folk tune “Saddle The Pony,” it’s a reference to Samuel Lover’s Irish ballad “Rory O’More.”
Since Rory O’more is something of a love story (eventually turned into a book by Lover), it’s possible that the track is eluding to the relationship and adventure that Booker and Elizabeth become entangled in.
What are your thoughts about the upcoming game?
